There’s so many people hurting who have vital needs within our city and region, it can be overwhelming. Yet, although we can’t do everything, together we can do acts of love to make a difference. Sharing the love of Jesus in tangible ways.
Do you want to be more involved with the opportunities we get to LOVE OUR CITY? Such as a nonprofit that needs help with meals, or an individual or group who has a specific need? Whether you want to keep up with what is happening, or you know of an opportunity that people may want to be a part of, this is a great ministry for that!
We’re looking for opportunities that align with our mission to make a difference within our Tristate Region. We have a Compassion & Conviction to be a blessing to the communities around us and we would love for you to bring your heart and your hands!
In partnership with City Gospel Mission, Whiz Kids tutoring is a one-to-one tutoring program our church runs for elementary students at Pleasant Ridge Montessori.
Tutors meet once a week with the same student. Tutoring takes place at the school on Tuesdays, 2:30-4:00 PM, for 9-10 weeks per semester.
No experience necessary - training is provided! Let us know if you're interested in becoming a Whiz Kids tutor!
