Dr. Brian Taylor

Meet Our Lead Pastor

Dr. Brian Taylor attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN on a football scholarship, where God profoundly changed his life and clarified his calling to preach the gospel. It was also there that he met his wife, Chavonne.

He served as a director with Every Nation Campus Ministries at several universities, including Vanderbilt, Tennessee State University, Fisk University, and the University of Central Florida. Before moving to Cincinnati to help launch the church, he served on pastoral staff in churches in Nashville, TN and Orlando, FL.

In addition to leading our congregation, Brian serves as chaplain for the University of Cincinnati football team. He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and serves with Every Nation Seminary as a professor of Hermeneutics and Biblical Preaching. He is also the author of Ready to Lead: Essential Questions for Empowering Black Leadership in the Multiethnic Church.

Brian and Chavonne, an educator and deacon of the church, are grateful to call Cincinnati home, where they live with their children, Elijah, Saniya, and Joshua.
